1) CEWE Limited, based at Unit 4 Titan Business Centre, Spartan Close, Tachbrook Park, Warwick, CV34 6RR, hereinafter referred to as CEWE, is organising a "CEWE Virtual Advent Calendar" (hereafter “Competition”) with either Daily Free content, Competitions or Mini Games. A participant can enter into the Daily Competitions and access the free content by opening the Virtual Advent Calendar Doors each day and either answering a Quiz question and entering their personal details or playing a game and sharing their personal information to enter into the prize draw of that day. Prize draws will occur daily on days when there is a prize available (excluding weekends & public holidays). Winners will be selected at random and all prize winners will be notified in writing by email. CEWE will not be held responsible for any incorrect information provided by the entrants.
2) Participants in the Competition must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the UK. Participation is not limited to customers of CEWE and participants are not required to purchase any goods or services from CEWE in order to take part in the Competition. Participants with limited legal capacity may require permission from their legal representative to take part in the competition. Employees of CEWE or its partners, their dependants, members of their immediate families/households and other persons professionally involved in the Competition are excluded from participating.
3) In entering the Competition, each participant confirms that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize they may win. CEWE may require participants to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Competition.
4) CEWE further reserves the right to exclude individuals from participating, provided that there are (in CEWE’s reasonable opinion) justified reasons for the exclusion, such as (but not limited to):

6) Participation is only possible via the contest site at https://www.cewe.co.uk/inspiration/virtual-advent-calendar.html. Submissions made by post or any other way or after the closing date for the Competition will not be considered or accepted.
7) Promotion period: The Competition begins on 1st December 2022 at 00:01 and the closing date for the Competition is 23.59pm BST on 24th December 2022.
8) Each participant must register on the contest site at https://www.cewe.co.uk/inspiration/virtual-advent-calendar.html by completing the form found on the corresponding date on the virtual advent calendar. Each day, the participant must click on the correct day and enter their details in the entry form provided.
9) Entries are limited to one per person per day. Multiple entries of the same email address will not and cannot be accepted.
10) There are 9 prize draws throughout the month of December for this Virtual Advent Calendar.
11) Each day, the corresponding number on the advent calendar will open (for example number 1 on the calendar for the 1st of December and number 2 for the 2nd of December and so on until the 24th of December) and an individual wishing to enter that individual prize draw will be asked to play a game or answer a quiz question as well as submitting their details to be entered into the prize draw. Each prize draw will be open for a period of 23 hours from the start of the corresponding day at 00:01 BST.
12) Campaign fulfilment: On days where there is an associated prize, the prizes will be drawn the following day (excluding weekends and public holidays – on these days the winners will be drawn on the following Monday). Winners will then be contacted by CEWE via email within 5 days of each prize draw and to confirm details with the participants. Once this happens, CEWE will arrange fulfilment. CEWE will not be held responsible for any incorrect information provided by entrants. Winners have 5 working days to accept their prize before an alternative winner is selected.

14) Unforeseen Circumstances: If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, tampering of unauthorised intervention, fraud or technical failures or any cause beyond CEWE’s control, which affects the administration, promotion, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this campaign, CEWE may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition or invalidate any affected entries.
15) CEWE may refuse to award the prize in the event that it is found that an entrant has fraudulently or dishonestly entered into this competitions under these Terms and Conditions.
16) All entries must be made directly by the person entering into the Competition. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted.
17) CEWE will only process participants’’ personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy. Please also see clause 12, with regard to the announcement of winners.
18) Insofar as is permitted by law, CEWE, its affiliates, agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up any prize except where it is caused by the negligence of CEWE, its affiliates, agents or distributors or that of their employees. Participants’ statutory rights are not affected.
19) By accessing and entering the Competition website, the participant is agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
20) CEWE reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
21) Should any of the provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, in full or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these conditions for participation. The ineffective provision shall be replaced with the legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic aim and purpose of the invalid provision. The same shall apply if there are any regulatory gaps in these conditions for participation.
22) These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
