How To: Create a Miniature Hot Air Balloon with Square Prints

In order to celebrate, it’s a thoughtful idea to create a homemade gift and we’ve got just the idea for you. Read on and we’ll show you how to make a beautiful gift that looks like a miniature hot air balloon!

What You Need:

• Retro Prints in a set of 16
• 1 transparent confetti balloon, filled with helium
• Decorative String
• Small piece of craft cardboard
• Black felt-tip pen
• Scissors

Getting Started

To start, use our online CEWE Creator Software to design a set of 16 Retro Prints with your own photos, Clipart and fonts. Once created and ordered, you will automatically receive your photos in the decorative picture box. Now, all you have to do is attach a matching balloon to it filled with confetti. Plus, there is no need to purchase any wrapping paper as the end result speaks for itself. Simple!

A Box Full of Happy Moments

To ensure that your picture box hangs straight and in the middle below the balloon, tie a piece of string around the box on the left and right side. To keep it tidy, tie the ends individually on the back. Then, use a third piece of string to connect the two previously attached ribbons above the box and use them to attach the balloon.

By the way, balloons with confetti like these are available as a ready-made set in specialist shops, where you can have them inflated with helium. If you’d like, write a small greeting on a piece of cardboard, add a hole using a hole punch and then tie the card to the picture box.

And voila! The finished birthday surprise looks like a miniature hot air balloon.
