We know that lots of you are big fans of our True Matte paper, but we know you also love our layflat photographic papers. That’s why we set out to find a way to combine the elegance of True Matte with the striking effect of a layflat paper.

Our brand new Matte Photographic paper does just that. With a smooth matte finish, and a layflat binding so you can show off your images across a double page spread, it combines the beautiful feel of matte with the wow factor of our layflat books. As it’s a photographic paper, it’s slightly thicker than True Matte, and feels even smoother than our original matte paper.

Matte Photographic will really bring out the brilliant colours and rich contrasts of your images. With beautiful, deep blacks it’s perfect for making black and white photography stand out. Meanwhile, its flawlessly smooth pages show no fingerprints, so however many times you pore over your book, it will never get smudged.

As well as creating impact with impressive panoramas and double page spreads, the layflat binding of our Matte Photographic books gives you much more freedom when designing a layout.
